Our Annual Fundraiser supports our projects throughout the year. These include managing the Mayr Brothers Hatchery (jointly with the Department of Fish and Wildlife), Scholarships to Grays Harbor College students, Fisheries support to help put millions of fish into local rivers, and the annual Kids Fishing Derby at Failor Lake.

Failor Lake Kids Derby

The fourteenth annual kids-only fishing derby for children 14 years of age and under on the Saturday before the regular trout season opener at Failor Lake. In addition to the fish plant by the state the Poggies also plant hundreds of 3-5 pound trout. It's huge fun for the kids and also the parents and grandparents that help the kids with their catch. Every kid that registers gets a prize.
